Wedding Dress Timelines: Separate Preparation from Shipping

A shipping estimate is not always the full time needed to receive and prepare a wedding dress. Before ordering, separate the stages: availability, any preparation or production, dispatch, transit and fittings. Planning around the complete sequence gives you a clearer picture than a delivery label alone.

Confirm the exact product status

Ask whether your chosen size is ready stock, made to order or custom sized. Those categories can have different preparation requirements. A general website message should not replace confirmation for a particular gown, especially when your wedding date is close or the design requires additional work.

Understand transit separately

Maison Harleen normally sends deliveries by FedEx Express unless otherwise specified, with stated transit of 2–5 days after dispatch. Preparation is a separate stage. Product estimates and destination circumstances should be checked before ordering; a transit estimate is not a guarantee that every gown is ready to ship immediately.

Leave room for fittings

Allow time to try the dress with the intended shoes and discuss any alterations. International customs processing may also affect arrival. Share your event date before buying and ask whether the complete schedule is realistic. Avoid booking irreversible alterations before the garment has arrived and been assessed.

Does express shipping include production time?

No. Transit begins after dispatch. Confirm preparation and production separately for the exact product and size.
